26 / January / 2001   Friday.

10:00 AM  Meet at MGM Studios at Sid Cauhunga's shop which is directly to the left when you enter the park. I will be there with an Arielcon banner and Dan's flag that he made me last year. Lots of photos and introductions and getting in trouble with any of the characters we can find around.

10:30 AM  Voyage to the Little Mermaid! I will also arrange like we have in the past to meet "Ariel" after the show for autographs and pictures. Fast pass may make our life a little interesting but we will stick to this as close as we can.

11:00   Go in front of the Animation Tour building and watch "Andy Mation" make a wonderful balloon sculpture. We will beg for Ariel.

12:30 PM  Lunch at the Commisary. Great place to sit, relax, and gab.

3:00 PM  Meet up in front of The Chinese Theatre to watch the Mulan Parade at 3:30 p.m.

5:00 PM  Meet at Pizza Planet outside at one of the tables and eat a quick bite before heading over to fantasmic which starts at 6:30 p.m. (Ariel is in this!) After Fantasmic we will all hop on the bus to go to the All Star Music to hang out around the Ariel statue and do our Ariel gift exchange. Everyone bring one neat Ariel item wrapped up to put in the exchange. Talk to everyone until the wee hours of the morning and then collapse in bed.

27 / January / 2001   Saturday.

10:00 AM  All meet up in front of the Castle for a group Arielcon Picture for the scrapbook. Please come dressed in your best Ariel Attire.

10:30 AM  Head over to Ariel's Grotto and get in line to sea Ariel!

11:30 AM  Ride the Peter Pan ride in Fantasy Land and see the "Ariel" in it.

1:00 PM  Lunch at Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland. Hopefully it will be beautiful and we will eat outside on the back patio.

2:00 PM  Go get ready to dance in the 3 o'clock parade in front of the Ariel float. Always a highlight. Start practicing now!

3:30 PM  Having embarrassed ourselves completely in the parade, we proceed to act like we are 12 years old the rest of the day. We will head over to Alien Encounter and then to Buzz Lightyear to see who can get the best score.

5:00 PM  Meet in front of the train station in Toon Town. We will then all get on the train and sing Little Mermaid songs until they throw us off.

6:00 PM  Meet in front of the castle to see the Main Street Electrical Parade. Stay here until the 7:30 p.m. Fantasy in Sky Fireworks.

8:00 PM  Hop a bus to go back to the All Star Music and watch Little Mermaid together AND Mermaid Two! Bring lots of popcorn!

28 / January / 2001   Sunday.

12:00 NOON  Swimming Party at the All Star Music Piano Pool at 12 noon. Everyone can come and hang out and swim and eat and talk and be mermaids or mer-men as the case may be. If you are not into swimming then you can hang out around the pool and take blackmail pictures of the rest of us.

4:00 PM  I will officially adjourn Arielcon 2001. Sniff! Sniff! Always a sad moment. The times on this schedule will have to be adhered to rather strictly. There will be people coming in at all different times so this way we can be found easily. Everyone can come and go as they please, no one has to do everything I have planned. This way people can come and go and the group can still get back together easily. Here is all the legal boring stuff but I have to say it anyway......The Ariel convention or Arielcon is not associated with Disney at all. It is a just a bunch of fun, goofy people who have met because of the internet who decide to get together once a year in one spot. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend. We don't want to be one of those headlines where someone runs off to meet someone on the internet without telling parents etc....... O.K. Disney World...ready or not, here we come!!!!!
